...A SNOW SQUALL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM EST FOR HUNTERDON...MORRIS...NORTHERN MERCER...SOMERSET...CENTRAL MONMOUTH... MIDDLESEX AND NORTH CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 1211 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from East Hanover to near Sergeantsville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8A and 13. Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 15 and 42. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 28 and 47. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 54. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 119 and 134.

Locations impacted include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Morristown, Somerville, Somerset, Edison, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Carteret, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Middlesex, Princeton, Florham Park, and East Hanover.
