Wind chills as low as 35 below zero. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 14 inches possible.
* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until 11 AM MST this morning. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM MST Tuesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Tuesday evening through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Wind chill values may fall to extremely dangerous levels.
