Advisory

Storm Update 1/15/2024 - Monday after 7pm into Tuesday. 2 to 3 Inches of Snow

Happy Monday!

Snow starting after 7pm tonight and pushing into Tuesday. Our area may see a mix Tuesday of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain. This could make for a difficult Tuesday morning commute. Give yourself PLENTY of extra time. Prepare ice and snow removal for any event. Remember to use your shovel app (Teens & Young Adults). Prepare fluffernutters for extra energy and safe a trip for eggs and milk.

Power outages are very possible as trees have not recovered from all the rain. Keep your local utility numbers on hand and call immediately if you lose power.

Stay safe & warm!

Carbon Monoxide

Any gas appliance can be a source of carbon monoxide, a dangerous gas that deprives the body of oxygen, resulting in serious injury or death. Don't use a gas stove as a source of heat, as this increases the likelihood of carbon monoxide poisoning. Make sure the stove is vented to the outside and the vent it not blocked. Install a carbon monoxide detector in homes where gas appliances, including gas stoves, are being used.
