1. Armed Robbery (1821) 1600 Block of East Ninth Street, Park District
Three female victims walked to their car when the suspect approached. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victims and demanded their property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area. SUSPECT: Unknown Race male in his twenties.
2. Shooting into Dwellings (0039) 200 and 300 Block of South Filbert Street, Park District
Officers responded to the area on reports of shots fired and located several residences that had been struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries and no suspect information.
3. Robbery (0045) 1000 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
The female victim, 28, was in the area when the suspect approached, assaulted her and took her property. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Battery on an Officer (0431) 2200 Block of Manthey Road, Seaport District
Officers investigated a disturbance and contacted the suspect. When they tried to detain her, she attempted to spit and assault the officers. Officers placed her in a restraining device to prevent her from injuring herself or the officers. ARRESTED: Sherice Waters, 34, for spousal battery, resisting arrest, and battery on an officer.
