Winter Weather Advisory for this evening into Tuesday afternoon, 2 to 4 inches of snow expected
A Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 p.m. this evening to 4 p.m. Tuesday. 2 to 4 inches of snow with a light glaze of ice is expected.
Look for perhaps a few flurries or a light snow shower around or just after sunset, though most of the widespread snow holds off until 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Snow then gets steadier with rates picking up late evening and peaking between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Heading toward sunrise, these snow rates will lessen significantly and we will have more mixed precipitation come in, flipping between light snow/freezing drizzle and pockets of sleet through Tuesday morning before precipitation exits between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Slow down and use caution while driving.
