Police Seek Help Identifying Shooting Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s assistance with identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
At approximately 7:38 p.m., Police responded to a call of shots fired at the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard. Responding officers located a male shooting victim at the 100 block of Livingston Street. A second male shooting victim was located on the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard. Each victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and each is reportedly in stable condition.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly identify the suspect, who is described as a Black male, wearing all black clothing, red and black sneakers, and a red and black scarf. The suspect was also carrying a red crossover bag. He is known to frequent the area of 18th Avenue and Irvine Tuner Boulevard.
