Update: Snow Gives Way to Wintry Mix this Morning... Areas of light to briefly moderate snow continue over the next few hours, picking up an additional 0.5-1.5” through around dawn before warm air mixes in aloft and changes snow to some sleet and freezing drizzle early this morning. This is also when precip will turn more intermittent and linger through the morning, then tapering from west to east in the early afternoon. As precip tapers the mix may end as a brief instance of snow. Temps still look to plummet tonight, so any wet or slushy spots that remain will freeze up. Quiet and cool conditions return for Wednesday and during the day Thursday.
