City of Clute Operational and Weather Update - January 16, 2024
Attention Clute Residents:
This is an important update regarding the ongoing winter weather conditions. The Hard Freeze Warning for Brazoria County remains in effect until 9 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Please continue to take precautions to ensure your safety, as we expect temperatures to drop back into the low 20s again tonight and into Wednesday morning.
Key Updates:
1. **Hard Freeze Warning:**
- The Hard Freeze Warning is still in effect. Continue to protect against extremely low temperatures for yourself, your family, and your property.
- Remember the 4 P’s – People, Pets, Pipes, Plants
2. **Road Conditions:**
- All roads are open and passable; however, exercise caution, especially in shaded areas and on overpasses where icy conditions may persist.
3. **Trash service:**
- There will be no trash service today, January 16, 2024.
- Trash service will resume regular operations on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
