TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Wintry Road Conditions Linger; Green Bay Police Remind Drivers to be Cautious
The Green Bay Police Department is asking that drivers continue to use caution during their commute as winter road conditions from last week’s snowstorm linger across the city.
The current arctic air and bitter cold temperatures have not allowed for the snow to completely melt on the roads, resulting in numerous crashes as packed snow and ice have created slick travel.
We ask that drivers take it slow on the roads, plan for extra stopping distance, and extra travel time.
As always remember to check with Wisconsin Department of Transportation's 511 WI for Winter Road Conditions at https://511wi.gov/, dial 511 or download the free 511 Wisconsin mobile app.
