INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: JC Wallace House, 22325 Barton Road, Grand Terrace
SUSPECT(S): Anthony Lamont Jones, 23-year-old male resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 13, 2024, at about 2:30 p.m., deputies from the Central Sheriff's Station responded to the JC Wallace House, in Grand Terrace, regarding a report of male subject with a gun. The victim, an employee at the JC Wallace House, explained Anthony Jones pointed a gun at him. Jones was dating another employee of the JC Wallace House and believed the victim was talking negatively about him while at work. Jones confronted the victim and pointed a gun at him.
Central Station investigators contacted Jones at his residence and served a search warrant. Evidence of the crime was recovered and Jones was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for PC 245(a)(2)- Assault with a Firearm.
