Winter Storm Warning until 10:00AM Saturday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts possible across the higher windward slopes. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST NICHOLAS ... SOUTHEAST NICHOLAS ... NORTHWEST WEBSTER ... SOUTHEAST WEBSTER ... NORTHWEST POCAHONTAS ... NORTHWEST RANDOLPH ... SOUTHEAST RANDOLPH
