A Winter Weather Advisory is once again in effect for Neptune Township as a storm on Friday is expected to bring 2-4" of snow to our area with localized totals of up to 6" possible. The storm begins early Friday morning around 4:00AM and continues into the late evening hours. Keep in mind that due to the cold temperatures we are currently experiencing, the snow will begin accumulating on the roads as soon as it begins, which means the snow parking ordinance will most likely be in effect before dawn on Friday.

The Snow Parking Ordinance takes effect as soon as the roads are snow-covered, which is currently expected to occur between 4:00AM and 6:00AM on Friday morning. It is strongly recommended that vehicles be parked per the ordinance on Thursday night. This is especially crucial in Ocean Grove, which has many narrow streets that cannot be properly cleared if cars are parked improperly.
