This is the Belmar Police Department with an important announcement regarding the impending winter storm to arrive in our area.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for our area for early morning Friday January 19, 2024 and will continue through the evening.  The National Weather Service is reporting 3 to 5 inches of snow to accumulate throughout the day.
The Department of Public Works is preparing for the storm, and it is imperative that the snow emergency ordinances are followed.
If snowfall accumulates, please follow Borough of Belmar Ordinance #19-10 and Borough of Lake Como Ordinance 7-7.3.  Ordinances can be found at Belmar.Com and Lakecomonj.org.
