* WHERE...Portions of central, east central and west central Illinois, generally north of a Beardstown to Decatur to Danville line.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to noon CST Friday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM Friday to noon CST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Much of the snow will fall during the evening hours, diminishing from west to east after midnight. The highest snow rates will be near and north of I-74, with snow rates of over a half inch per hour.
