A winter storm advisory is in effect from 7am until 7pm tomorrow (Friday, Jan 19th). Snow showers are expected to start at 6am with total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches.  

Please help the Department of Public Works by following all parking regulations. Alternate side of the street parking is strictly enforced during snow storms.  Plan ahead and remove your vehicle from streets that are covered by the Borough's "No Parking in Snow Emergencies" ordinance (B.O. 194-9). As per 194-9, a snow emergency shall exist as soon as snow has accumulated on the street. Vehicles in violation of 194-9 may be summonsed and impounded.  Vehicles that usually park on snow emergency streets may park in municipal lots.  For additional information on the Snow Emergency ordinance and a list of streets covered by the ordinance, please go to the Borough's website-

Friday's regularly scheduled garbage collection by the DPW has not been cancelled.
