Although snow accumulations are forecasted for 1 to 3 inches, we would like to remind everyone that if snow does exceed 3 inches, then Public Ordinance 2070 goes into effect.
Public Ordinance 2070 prohibits parking on any street in Westfield when 3 or more inches of snow have fallen until snowfall stops and the entire width of the road has been plowed. Under these circumstances, the shoveling or blowing of snow into a plowed street is also banned.
If necessary, the Westfield Police Department will begin enforcement action to ensure that all Westfield streets are properly plowed.
