Friday's Winter Storm - Thursday PM Update

Neptune Township, along with much of Central NJ, has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow's storm. We are now projected to receive 4-6" of snow between 4:00AM and 10:00PM tomorrow (Friday) with the heaviest snow falling between 11:00AM and 4:00PM. The timing of this storm will lead to a slow and hazardous evening commute, so please plan for extra time if you will be on the road Friday afternoon/evening. Snow Parking rules will likely be in effect in the early morning tomorrow as the low temperatures will ensure the roads are snow covered shortly after it begins falling.

The Snow Parking Ordinance takes effect as soon as the roads are snow-covered. Parking in accordance with the ordinance allows DPW to properly clear the streets, and they are especially crucial in the narrow streets of Ocean Grove. Residents should park vehicles per the ordinance TONIGHT to avoid an early morning wake-up call from the NTPD and risk a ticket or tow. ***Snow Parking Ordinance - In Ocean Grove, vehicles must be parked as indicated by the posted signs.
