Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Late Night House Fire Seriously Injures Resident On Pasadena Drive
On Thursday. January 18th at approximately 10:04 pm. the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 500 Block of Pasadena Drive, in the Magnolia Section of Gloucester Township for a report of a house fire. While en-route dispatch advised that there may be trapped occupants inside the residence. Arriving Officers found a heavy smoke condition to the residence and that an alert neighbor had rescued the lone occupant from the dwelling.
Gloucester Township Fire Departments Glendora Fire Company Station 81, Chews Landing Fire Department Station 82, and Gloucester Township Squad Company 88 along with Runnemede, Magnolia, Somerdale and Bellmawr Fire Departments, quickly arrived and contained the fire to the rear of the single story dwelling.
The occupant of the home was treated on scene by Paramedics from Virtua before being airlifted, with the assistance of Somerdale and Runnemede Police Departments, to Temple University Hospital In Philadelphia by PENN STAR in Critical Condition.
The incident does not appear to be suspicious at this time, it is being investigated by the Gloucester Township Police Department Investigations Bureau and the Camden County Fire Marshall’s Office.
