One Injured in traffic Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on January 19, 2024 at approximately 2154 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash on Old M-205 near Cassopolis Rd, Mason Township, Cass County, Michigan. Investigation shows that 39-year-old, South Bend, IN resident; Porfiro Luna was traveling north on Cassopolis Rd, when he lost control of his vehicle due to weather and road conditions. Luna’s vehicle went off the road to the left and struck a power pole. Luna was transported to Elkhart Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
Luna was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in this crash.
