Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 01/20/2024 at 1930 hours, his office was called to investigate a shooting that occurred at a residents in the 200 block of E North St., Village of Marcellus, County of Cass, Michigan.
Investigation showed that two male roommates were having a verbal argument when the argument turned physical. One roommate, a 23 year-old male pulled a handgun and shot the other roommate multiple times. Brandon James Clark, 24 year-old, Marcellus Michigan resident, was transported to Bronson Trauma for his injuries.
The 23 year-old male was arrested and lodged at the Cass County Jail. The suspect's name is being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court.
