January 19, 2024:

• Officer Brooks was dispatched to the 100 block of West Cortland Street for a disorderly subject refusing to leave. With assistance from the Group Violence Intervention Coordinator, the subject was placed in a hotel.
• Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
• Officers responded to Steward Avenue and West Ganson Street for a hit and run accident. The 34-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for leaving the scene of an accident; conditional bond violation; and driving while intoxicated, 3^rd offense.
• Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop near South Cooper Street and East Washington Avenue. The 45-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Reynaga conducted a traffic stop at West Ganson Street and North Jackson Street. The 43-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Foote Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Cooper Street and East Washington Avenue. The 33-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Mills made contact with a subject in their vehicle at Elmdale Drive and South Jackson Street. The 37-year-old male was arrested for driving while under the influence of narcotics.

• Officer Goings and Officer Hogan conducted a traffic stop at East Louis Glick Highway and North Mechanic Street. The 45-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Goings was dispatched to the 300 block of Jefferson Street for a domestic dispute. The 20-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
• Officer Schram responded to the 300 block of North West Avenue for a threats report.
• Officer Panther was dispatched to the 1200 block of Laurel Lane for a domestic dispute. A 50-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A 24-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Officer Reynaga responded to the 1400 block of Teneyck Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Morse was dispatched to the 1000 block of South West Avenue for a stolen vehicle report.
• Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Steward Avenue. A 49-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics, and resisting and obstructing.

• Officer Elston was dispatched to West South Street and Goodrich Street for a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen with Columbia Township; the vehicle was impounded at their department’s request.
• Officer Fugate responded to the 400 block of North Van Dorn Street for a domestic dispute. A 44-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault and conditional bond violation.
• Officers were dispatched to First Street and Biddle Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.
• Officer Mills and Officer Panther responded to the 600 block of Murphy Street for the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
• Officers responded to West Mason Street and Greenwood Place for a stolen vehicle in the area. The vehicle was recovered. A 46-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant; charges will be sought on the male for filing a false police report. A 37-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants; charges for carrying a concealed weapon will be sought on the female.
• Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Jackson Street for a disorderly subject. Charges will be sought on a 26-year-old male for violation of a conditional bond order.
