INCIDENT: H&S 11378, Possesion of a Controlled Substance for Sales
LOCATION: 35000 Block of Avenue E, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Michael Smith, 29 year old resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, Janaury 19, 2024, at approximately 8:00 a.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Sheriff's Station, served a search warrant in the 35000 block of Avenue E in Yucaipa, based on information of suspected narcotics sales activity. During the execution of the search warrant, deputies located evidence of drug sales located inside the suspect's vehicle and residence.
The suspect, Michael Smith, was arrested for H&S 11378, possession of a controlled substance for sales and an active felony warrant for narcotic sales. Smith was booked at West Valley Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $80,000 bail.
