* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of the Coachella Valley, from Indio to Mecca.
* WHEN...Until 101 PM PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.3 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.4 inches are expected over the area in the next couple of hours. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southeastern Indio, Coachella, Palm Desert, Thermal, Hwy 74 Between Anza And Palm Desert, La Quinta, Mecca, Indian Wells and Santa Rosa Mountain. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
