...SNOW CONTINUES ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PANHANDLE... .Snowfall continues across the panhandle with some pockets of freezing rain along the transition zone between Wrangell and Kake and up to Yakutat. Over the inner channels near Juneau, snow has started to become wetter.
* WHAT...Freezing rain and snow. Sow accumulations of around 4 inches. Ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Yakutat.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A transition back to snow is likely during the day followed by a change to rain or mix of rain and snow late tonight.
