* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads, and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of light precipitation will move into the area from west to east by Tuesday afternoon and continue through Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Freezing rain mixed at times with sleet and even a little snow can be expected at the highest elevations in the northern part of the county with a change to rain likely for a time Tuesday afternoon in the lower elevations before a change back to a wintry mix at night. All areas are expected to see any lingering precipitation change to rain by Wednesday afternoon. Ice accumulations over the duration of the event could be upwards of a tenth of an inch over the highest terrain in the northern part of the county but should be limited to several hundredths of an inch elsewhere.
