...SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN CONTINUE ACROSS THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE THROUGH TUESDAY... .Snowfall continues across the northern panhandle with some pockets of freezing rain moving north through the daytime and evening on Tuesday as warmer air starts to arrive. Over the inner channels near Juneau, snow has started to become wetter but temperatures have remained cold enough to stay as snow. Precipitation rates will significantly diminish beginning Wednesday morning.
* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to four inches.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Yakutat.
* WHEN...Until noon AKST today.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A continued mix of rain and snow is possible beyond the advisory timeframe with light accumulations.
