Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Iazaliya Johnson, 15, of Newark, who was reported missing on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Iazaliya, who is a habitual runaway, was last seen in the area of Chadwick Avenue near Avon Avenue and is described as 5’1” tall and 140 pounds, with a hairstyle of black and pink braids. Iazaliya was wearing a black varsity jacket, gray sweatpants, and blue Jordan’s sneakers. She frequents the 200 block of West End Avenue, the 100 block of Seymour Avenue, and Smith Street in Newark.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Iazaliya Johnson to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
