* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and west central Georgia, including the following counties, in north central Georgia, Clayton and Fayette. In west central Georgia, Coweta, Harris, Heard, Meriwether and Troup.

* WHEN...From this evening through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several waves of showers and thunderstorms will impact much of north and central Georgia through the weekend. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches will be likely. Locally higher rainfall amounts are possible in thunderstorms and where storms repeatedly move. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
