There has been a water main break on Park Avenue between Conover Street and Statiin Street. Utility crews have arrived on location and are making repairs. While repairs are being made, the northbound lane of Park Avenue between Station Street and Conover will be closed to all traffic. Vehicles travelling northbound will be detoured onto Iron Ore Road to Conover Street. Road Closed signs and detour signs have been placed to help motorists traverse the area. The southbound lane will remain open to southbound traffic ONLY. While traveling southbound be aware that utility crews and police officers will be working in the northbound lane very close to the centerline dividing the two lanes. Please drive carefully while traversing the area. There is no estimate to time of repair but the utility company is not anticipating the repairs to take more than one day. This lane closure is not expected to cause any major delays but with any utility work in the roadway we advise all motorists to give yourself extra time to traverse the area or plan an alternate route.
