* WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, including the following areas, Habersham and Rabun, western North Carolina, including the following areas, Macon, Southern Jackson and Transylvania, and upstate South Carolina, including the following areas, Oconee Mountains and Pickens Mountains.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected over the watch area throughout the day. By this evening, storm total rainfall of 2.5 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts are expected. This rain is expected to fall relatively evenly throughout the day, so stream rises are expected to be gradual.
