Officers were investigating a traffic collision and arrested an involved party for a DUI. While being evaluated at an area hospital, the suspect kicked an officer and was restrained without further incident. ARRESTED: Eva Mireles, 26, for driving under the influence and battery on an officer.
2. Person Shot (1758) 6300 Block of North El Dorado Street, Lakeview District
The male victim, 37, was riding his bicycle in the area when the suspects attempted to take his property and shot the victim. The victim fled on his bicycle and was contacted by police a short distance away. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: Four males.
3. Robbery / Organized Retail Theft (1820) 4900 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 69, was working at an area business when the suspects fled the business with unpaid merchandise. The victim attempted to retrieve the stolen items and was assaulted by the suspects. The victim was uninjured and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Three black male juveniles and one black female juvenile.
4. Armed Robbery (0030) 1600 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 27, was working at an area business when the suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun, and stole property from the victim. SUSPECT: Hispanic male, 40-50 years old.
5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0232) Airport Street and Sixth Street, Park District
The male victim, 41, was near the listed area when he was approached and stabbed by the suspect. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult
6. Armed Robbery (0330) 700 Block of Wizard Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 56, was near the listed area when the suspects approached and demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspects brandished a firearm and fled with the victim’s property. SUSPECTS: Hispanic male, 20-27.
