Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On January 18, at approximately 2:50 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the unit block of Cedar Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 39-year-old Karim Bey, who was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of 7.8 grams of crack cocaine, and .042 grams of fentanyl.
Bey has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released after posting $10,000 secured bail.
