9000 block Phyllis Avenue
01/15/2024 @ 0800-0900. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed three pairs of shoes and a baseball glove from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle. #00256

8800 block Sunset Blvd
01/15/2024 @ 1246. A man ransacked the interior and removed a laptop computer, luggage containing miscellaneous clothing, and a Louis Vuitton bag from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle. #00258

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (two victims)
900 block Curson Avenue
01/16/2024 @ 1420. A woman was walking her dog when the suspect approached and punched her in the face without provocation. The suspect then raised a skateboard into the air and swung it at the victim. The suspect also swung the skateboard at a witness that stopped to help the victim. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00274

01/17/2024 @ 0402. Three men smashed the front glass door to gain access and then used a saw to cut the metal security gate open and gain access to miscellaneous pharmaceuticals. #00283

01/18/2024 @ 1230. A man pointed and simulated firing a paintball gun at the victim as she was driving past his parked vehicle. The victim fled the area because she believed the gun was real. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00301

01/21/2024 @ 2000. The victim was walking NB on Curson Avenue when a vehicle stopped near his location and asked to borrow his phone. As the victim approached the car, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his property and he complied. #00370
