Advisory

Coronado Country Club advisory continues to area impacted by pump station. Flush/wash hands OK. Community Center showers open 7am-7 pm.

Progress is being made on the Parker Pump Station that was severely impacted by Monday’s heavy rains. City crews are rushing to obtain components from out of the area to fully restore sewer service. We  are still asking residents in the impacted Country Club area to continue to limit drain usage to basic hygiene needs (no showers, dishwashing, laundry). Free showers are available at the Community Center, 1845 Strand Way from 7 am to 7 pm.

An update will be sent by 1 pm today on the estimated time for lifting the advisory. More information on resources for homeowners, including free bulky waste pickup for homes damaged by flooding is on the City website https://www.coronado.ca.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=528. The City appreciates the community’s patience.

Impacted area: homes in the Country Club area, west of Alameda Blvd to Naval Base, north of 10th St/Alder St and south of 6th Street.
