* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Central Plaquemines, Coastal Jefferson Parish, Eastern Orleans, Lower Jefferson, Lower Lafourche, Lower Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard, Lower Terrebonne, Northern St. Tammany, Southeast St. Tammany, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Lafourche, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper Terrebonne, Washington and Western Orleans and southern Mississippi, including the following areas, Northern Hancock, Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson, Pearl River, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches per hours are expected to develop over portions of Southeast Louisiana and Coastal Mississippi by mid-morning and continue into the afternoon hours.
