At 12:20 PM today, the Monroe Township High School administration was made aware of a social media post possibly threatening the school. The school went into shelter-in-place. Once Monroe Township Police were made aware of the threat, Officers and Detectives worked quickly to identify the subject.  The  Monroe Township Police made contact with the individual and ensured there was no threat to the school. The shelter in place was lifted at 12:45 PM. The investigation determined the threat was not credible. 
 
We understand the anxiety a situation like this can cause families, students, staff and the community. We take any and all reports of potential threats seriously, and thoroughly investigate to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
