Full Notification

The California City Police Department received information that some of the schools in our City were placed on lock down out of an abundance of caution for the safety of their students and staff after observing a large Police presence near by.The California City Police Department was assisting other agencies with service of a search warrant in the area and there was not a threat to the schools or the public.
We have contacted the schools and advised them that they are not in any danger and the lockdowns have been lifted.

The California City Police Department would like to thank the administration of these schools foe their swift action to ensure the safety or their students and staff.
