Country Club Advisory CONTINUES. Crews working overnight continuing repairs. Services are still available for residents this weekend.
The repair of the second sewer pump is ongoing. Crews and contractors continue to be on site overnight to troubleshoot repairs on the pump. Most of the pump has been rebuilt and crews continue to diagnose and repair additional components. Work will continue around the clock until a final fix is achieved. For now, affected Country Club area residents are advised to continue with the limited water use for flushing and hand washing.
The Community Center will have extended hours this weekend for showers: 7 am to 7 pm. Impacted residents can also pick up prepaid laundry cards for Laundry Lounge Laundromat at the Community Center during that same time. The laundromat is located at 1007 Isabella Avenue in Coronado (hours 5 am to 10 pm).
We understand the great frustration with the uncertainty of the duration of the repair. We continue to thank you for your patience. We are expending every effort to restore service. The pump repair has been an iterative process and a number of repairs and corrections have been made.
The City continues its storm preparations for next week. The sandbags that were distributed at 6 locations today were taken and the City has additional pallets arriving on Monday and on Tuesday. Once distributed, we will notify the community.
