...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan... Rouge River At Detroit affecting Wayne County. North Branch Clinton Near Mt Clemens affecting Macomb County. .Rainfall and snow melt Thursday night and Friday led to rises on area rivers. Rivers levels will fall this weekend. For the Rouge River...including Detroit...Minor flooding is forecast. For the N.br. Clinton River...including Mt Clemens...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...North Branch Clinton near Mt Clemens.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM EST Saturday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.8 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Impact...At 15.0 feet, Agricultural land along the river begins to flood. When the river reaches this level due to rain, the Middle Branch Clinton River usually is flooding in some locations. The middle branch will crest about 24 hours earlier than the north branch. 21 and 22 Mile Roads may be flooded. Water could also reach the foundation of a few homes along the bank of the middle branch by Heyndrich and Cass Avenue. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
