LOCATION: 6400 block of Palo Verde Drive, Twentynine Palms

VICTIM(S): 22 year old male resident of Twenynine Palms, 25 year old male resident of Twentynine Palms.
SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 27, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls of a shooting near the 6400 block of Palo Verde Drive in the city of Twentynine Palms. Deputies located the victim hiding on a rooftop near Adobe Road and Gorgonio Drive. During the investigation, the victim told deputies he was able to escape his residence as unknown subjects shot multiple times into their home. The victims fled to a safe location, and an unidentified vehicle was seen fleeing the area.
