Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM Monday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 20 inches.

* WHERE...East Turnagain Arm, Seward Highway.

* WHEN...From noon today to noon AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A low pressure system pushing towards Prince William Sound will bring heavy snow along the Seward Highway from Girdwood to Portage, through Turnagain Pass and south to Seward. Light snow in the afternoon will intensify as the day progresses. While snow is expected to persist through Monday night, the heaviest snow and highest snow accumulation will be during the evening hours Sunday into Monday morning with more than a foot possible. Snow rates may exceed 1 inch per hour at times, resulting in periods of poor visibility.
