WINTER STORM PARKING BAN
 
 
Citywide Parking Ban in Effect Sunday Evening:
 
The City of Somersworth has declared an emergency parking ban; no on-street parking will be allowed-
beginning on Sunday January 28 at 7:00 p.m. and concluding on Monday, January 29 at 5 p.m.
All vehicles parked on City Streets will be ticketed and towed while the ban is in effect.
 
Downtown – Business District – Ban will be lifted on Monday , January 29 at 7:00 a.m. :
While in effect, parking will be allowed on the following business district streets in the downtown area ONLY starting on Monday morning, January 29 at 7:00 a.m.
 
  • High Street (Constitutional Way to Market St. to  the Bridge)
  • Main Street (Washington St. to Market St. to  the Bridge)
  • Market Street
  • Washington Street
  • Constitutional Way
  • Government Way
  • Station Street
  •  John Parsons Drive
    
 A winter weather advisory is in effect for Somersworth from late Sunday night through Monday.
