Full Notification

On January 28, 2024, at 1958 hours, deputies assigned to the Wasco Substation responded to a shots fired call with a man down.  Upon their arrival, deputies located one adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.  Life saving efforts were made by the responding deputies and medical aid personnel but the victim ultimately passed away.  No further information is being released pending the initial investigation by detectives.  A detailed report will be provided at a later time.
