On January 24, 2024, at 8:54 a.m. Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Owensville to conduct a welfare check on a resident.  Upon arriving at the residence on North Third Street deputies could hear a verbal argument inside the residence. Deputy Bart Wagner knocked on the door and advised the parties inside that 32 year old Jeremy White had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  Upon entering the residence it was discovered that Mr. White had ran out the back.  After a short foot pursuit Mr. White was taken into custody and transported by Deputy Jennifer Robb to the Gibson County Jail where she charged him with Resisting Law Enforcement Fleeing.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
