1. Carjacking Arrest (1602) 400 Block of Shasta Avenue, Park District
The female victim, 28, arrived in the area in her vehicle when the known suspect confronted her, pushed her down, and took her property. The suspect then fled in the victim’s vehicle. Officers were able to locate the victim’s vehicle and took the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Falorencia Mendoza, 31, for carjacking,
robbery, and battery.
2. Person Shot (2046) Sutherland Drive and Sundance Lane, Valley Oak District
The adult male victims were in the listed area when the armed suspects approached and shot at them. One victim was struck by gunfire and transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. There is no suspect information.
3. Weapons Arrest (2149) Eighth Street and Tillie Lewis Drive, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for observed traffic violations. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: David Sin, 43, for weapons charges and DUI.
4. Residential Robbery (0024) 1200 Block of East Oak Street, Park District
The male victim, 23, was in his residence when the suspects entered and demanded property. The suspects assaulted the victim before fleeing the location. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Three Hispanic male adults
