INCIDENT: HS 11550(a): UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF METHAMPHETAMINE.
LOCATION: Chamberlaine Way/ Bellflower St., Adelanto
SUSPECT: Kelvin McFarland, 25-years-old, resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10:51 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person near Chamberlaine Way and Bellflower Street in Adelanto. According to the reporting party, a male adult was using a large knife and cutting on trees. He was last seen walking southbound on Larkspur carrying the knife, described as a Machete.
Deputies located the subject, identified as Kelvin McFarland. McFarland was still in possession of the knife and under the influence of methamphetamine. McFarland was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
