Voting Update on Plainsboro's Fire District Budget Referendum 
On January 23rd, an announcement was made to reflect the Township Committee’s unanimous opposition of the Fire District Commissioner’s 58 percent increase to their budget, by approximately 33 times more than the state allows, leading to a large property tax increase.
The Plainsboro Fire District will have an In-Person Special Referendum Election on Saturday, February 17th between 2pm and 9pm at the Plainsboro Fire Company located at 407 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro, NJ 08536 for ALL registered voters.
Voters who have requested a Mail In-Ballot from the county should be receiving the ballot in the mail this week, which contains the budget referendum increase question. Click here for the ballot question and more information on the referendum budget increase.
