The male juvenile was walking in the area when the suspects assaulted him and took his property. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: One Black male adult and three male juveniles.
4. Person Stabbed (0105) Mayfair Avenue and El Dorado Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 33, and the suspect argued when the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening wounds. There is no suspect information.
5. Armed Robbery (0120) 2000 Block of East Washington Street, Park District
The male victim, 19, was in the area when the armed suspects approached and demanded property. The suspects assaulted the victim and took property before fleeing the area. SUSPECTS: Three Hispanic male adults.
6. Resisting Arrest (0130) El Dorado Street and Oak Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the area and located the suspect. Officers attempted to detain the suspect. However, he became combative and refused to comply with instructions. Officers deployed a taser, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Sonny Sounavong, 33, for resisting arrest and being under the influence of narcotics.
7. Battery on an Officer (0315) 600 Block of East Oak Street, Civic District
Officers investigated a disturbance and attempted to detain the suspect, who refused commands and became combative. The suspect pushed an officer and was arrested without further incident. ARRESTED: Douglas Rivera, 27, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
