Sheriff's School Resource Officer Investigates Man for Selling Illegal Narcotics to Minors; Suspect Arrested

SUSPECT(S): Manases Flores, 20-year-old Male Resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: The Redlands East Valley High School Resource Officer, Deputy D. Rodriguez, received information of a prior student who was selling marijuana and other narcotics to students at Redlands East Valley High School. During the investigation, Rodriguez identified the suspect as Manases Flores, of San Bernardino. Flores was suspected of selling illegal narcotics to minors including vape pens, and illegal firearms.
On Monday, January 29, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., investigators located Flores at his residence in San Bernardino. Deputy D. Rodriguez, along with deputies from the Specialized Enforcement Division, the Sheriff's Narcotics Division, and Central Station detectives served a search warrant at Flores' residence. Illegal narcotics, a large amount of U.S. currency, and several unregistered firearms were recovered during the search.
Flores was arrested for narcotics sales and various felony firearm related charges. Flores was booked into the Central Detention Center and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
