Activity for January 30, 2024:
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Van Dorn Street for an assault. The 44-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
- Officers and Cadets handled several traffic accidents due to road conditions.
- Officer Simon conducted a traffic stop near Cooper Street and Burr Street. The 63-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 3rd offense.
- Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop in the area of Page Avenue and South Gorham Street. The 29-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 3rd offense.
- Officers responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a disorderly subject. A 45-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
- Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop at Teneyck Street and South Elm Avenue. A 58-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation; charges will be sought for carrying a concealed weapon. A 55-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant; charges will be sought for possession of narcotics.
- Officer Reynaga and Officer Soloman conducted a personal welfare check near West Michigan Avenue and Third Street. A 40-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
